need turns into a solution - our story
When one of us moved to Siglufjörður in the middle of the Covid pandemic, her entire support network was lost.
The idea was sparked when a mother, desperate for childcare, expressed her frustration to a friend over the phone – a friend who later became her business partner. This call unexpectedly developed into an idea for a childcare app, a solution that would support parents all over Iceland.
Initially, the idea evolved into a babysitting app, but as the vision became clearer, the scope expanded. The name "Bambaló babysitting" became "Passari Marketplace" – a comprehensive solution that connects people looking for sitting services with trusted parties.
